Photography is powerful to communicate what is happening in church and the world around us right now. Still images are impactful and influence the way people inside and outside the church, in South Africa and further abroad, see church. Photography has always been an effective medium for exposing social injustice and as a photography team, we make a stand for truth through our imagery.
An online photo library and image management system allows photographers to contribute their latest images for digital and print platforms, for use on the website, on print media, and by the Film Kru. We have already published a podcast and offer interested persons the opportunity to be involved in upcoming photo documentary stories, Facebook photo competitions and a photo course.
The photography team is a relationship-based network for creatively-minded people. You do not have to be a professional photographer or have an expensive camera to get involved. If you have a basic camera and the necessary enthusiam, we can show you some of the practical skills that will capture the heart of Joshua Generation Church with a click!
We meet once every second month to inspire each other and get the most out of our cameras. If you are interested in this exciting area of ministry, contact us and we will put you in touch with our photography team.
